Hello,

I’m Sam, the founder of Fields & Flowers.

I’ve always had a passion for flowers, something I think was planted in me from a very young age by my grandparents. There was always a job to be done down at their allotment, whether it was tending to the vegetables or helping in my Gran’s little cutting garden.

Some of my earliest memories are surrounded by flowers, growing, picking and creating and I think that’s where my love of flowers really began. Those simple moments have stayed with me and have become a big part of why I love what I do today.

Based in the lovely market town which is Penistone, South Yorkshire, right on the edge the Peak district, I live my husband and little family.     I offer bespoke florals with a romantic and natural style using seasonal blooms and foliage’s, incorporating English grown flowers from local flower farmers to add the extra special touch and bring out the true wild flower garden style.

After studying Textile Design at Huddersfield University and spending several years working within the Fashion and Textiles industry, I finally took the leap to follow my passion for flowers  and I haven’t looked back since.

I’ve found where I’m meant to be, and that’s amongst the flowers.

I create bespoke wedding and event florals with a romantic, natural and slightly wild style, using seasonal blooms and beautiful foliage. I love incorporating English-grown flowers from local flower farmers wherever possible, adding an extra special touch and capturing that relaxed, wildflower-garden feel.

My background in textiles and design naturally influences the way I work. I love colour, texture, movement and the little details that bring everything together, creating flowers that feel personal and beautiful.
